How long does it take before my new site is live?
Our processes are designed for you to have your new site live within 5 weeks! One thing to note is that there is a bit of work from you along the way to help ensure the timeline: One form to fill out, once we have loaded all of your content, we will ask you to do “User Acceptance Testing” to ensure you are happy with everything before we push it live!
What work or details are needed from me for the new website?
There is a simple form we ask you to fill in that ask you to send us your logo, preferred colour choices and more importantly, your domain details (where your current site is hosted) If you already have an existing site, we will transfer over all of your images and content for you. If you don’t’ already have a website, we will discuss options for imagery, video and copywriting.
How much of the Themed Template Site can be changed to make it more personalised for us?
The standard Themed Website package includes: adding your logo, your preferred colours, your preferred font, plus all of your images and copywriting. Options like Instagram Feed, watermarks and other personalised design elements, Shopify and others can be integrated at an additional cost. Just let us know what you would like to personalise and we can provide a quote.
Will my new site automatically rank on the first page of Google?
The science of getting a website to rank well on Google is called Search Engine Optimisation. Your new site will be built with Best Practice Google Friendly Standards. It will also have the foundation blocks of SEO completed which includes each website page loaded with meta titles and meta descriptions.
If you are serious about your site’s ranking then there is additional monthly SEO that is required to ensure your site is always optimised.
We offer Search Engine Optimisation monthly packages and would love to talk to you about options if interested.
Will I be able to add pages or make other updates to the new website?
Absolutely! The website is easy to update any time! Before your site goes live, we provide you one on one website CMS training. If you can use Microsoft Word then you have the skills to update copy, add an image or even a new page.
