Update on how Xtra is filtering automated emails from ResBook

Just a quick update today for those customers experiencing issues with xtra.co.nz emails being sent from ResBook.


We have been working with Xtra's email development team as well as our server consultants to try and resolve the issue.

At this stage it looks like a change to the email filters Xtra uses has created an issue for automated emails being sent to Xtra inboxes from the ResBook application.

This problem will be difficult to resolve as the infrastructure Xtra has in place is very complex.

Currently, we are testing a few different changes to hopefully make a difference while at the same time researching further into things we can do to help resolve it as well as talking with Xtra.

We will continue to keep you updated as we progress - we are currently doing everything we can to try and resolve the problem.

What can I do?

We are already working with multiple clients to gather the information Xtra needs as well as testing some potential fixes. If you are experiencing the issues feel free to let us know but rest assured we are aware of the problem and are working with all parties involved to find a solution.

If you really need to improve communications with your guests due to this problem. ResBook does offer an SMS integration that can help you keep in touch with them.
