Updates to guest booking form and a new feature release for check in/out

Please see below ResBook releases for the 2nd of May 2019.

Check in/out Per Stock Unit:

ResBook users can now set check in/out per stock unit and for the first time hide either from the guest booking form.

How does it work?

ResBook will use the system wide check in/out functionality unless the below is changed:

Stock unit settings > Name/Description tab > "Override System Check in/out".

Set check-in or check-out for a particular stock unit:

Simply click "Override System Check in/out" and set the corresponding time. Once you save the page, that particular stock unit will now use the new times you set up.

Hide check-in or check-out for a particular stock unit:

Simply click "Override System Check in/out" and set the "Hide check in and/or check out" (depending on which you want to hide to "yes").

Note: Unless the stock unit settings are touched, ResBook will continue to use the current system wide check in/out configurations.

Other Releases:

  • Guest Booking Form: Guests entering emails on the booking form will now require an actual email address to complete the form.
  • Direct: Improvement to receiving bookings via the direct connection with
  • Housekeeping: When adding or deleting entries on the housekeeping calendar, ResBook will now keep the user on the same month.
