Customizing your Booking form in ResBook
Did you know you can create any questions you want to ask during the booking process from within ResBook?
Simply head to settings, system settings and click on "Booking forms". Here, you can edit either your manual booking form, agent form or guest booking form.
If you wish to create a new custom question, simply head to the "additional fields" section to create them.
You can pick from the following question types:
- text box
- check box
- dropdown list
- memo field
- text area
Once you select your type, you can write the question and add as many options as you like (if applicable).
Adding custom questions to the booking form:
Once you have created your custom question, simply head to the booking form type you wish to add it to. At the bottom it should display any custom questions created, with the ability to add them to the form and also set it as required. Once you have added the custom questions you wish to ask, simply save the page and the fields will be visible on the booking form.
Recording and reviewing the data:
Custom fields captured during the booking process will be added to the booking for staff to review at any time. On top of this, the data will be saved to the full booking export that can be found under the Booking tab.
